Upskilling for a European cloud

There is growing concern that the citizens, businesses and Member States of the European Union (EU) are gradually losing control over their data, over their capacity for innovation, and over their ability to shape and enforce legislation in the digital environment.
In my own attempt to be a productive part of the change towards European digital autonomy, I upskilled myself to manage and deploy services on European cloud infrastructure.
As far as European cloud infrastructure goes, I did some research and there are several major players – OVHCloud, StackIt, and Open Telekom Cloud. It seems like Open Telekom Cloud is the best fit for me right now, as it is both an already reputable organization and the terms were amenable. The others are not bad choices in any case!
As a result of my upskilling, I am now an officially certified Open Telekom Cloud Architect. If you need help running servers or services on a European cloud, I can now be of help. 😊 This will also help migrate the Liberate Science and ResearchEquals services over during the rest of the year.
